John & Gillian- Clinton New Jersey

I met John and Gillian through a gal pal/mentor of mine (Brianna). She’s another photographer that I’ve worked with almost exclusively for the last 4 years as her second photographer. There haven’t been too many weddings in that time that we weren’t together for. Anyways the two ladies went to college here on the East Coast and said we had to meet. A stretch of time had passed and one day I received an email about a late spring wedding in New Jersey. It had slipped my mind of the names until she mentioned she was friends with Bri. YAAY! The consultation was set, the ball was rolling and we had our video meeting.

A few of my favorite questions I ask clients are how they met and when they know they wanted to spend their life together. These two went to high school together. So after some time had passed after graduation they reconnected over socials with a simple happy birthday message one day. They spent alot of the time reconnecting over the phone and had a date at a major league soccer game. So some time afterwards she knowly knew subconsciously early on that John was the one.
