Are you a newly engaged couple? Have you thought about where you want to shoot your save-the-date photos? The great thing about couple sessions is you don’t always need a photo studio location to have a fun lifestyle couples photography session. It really comes down to what you both love doing and being that sets you up for success in a photography session. I love the idea of having an over-the-top set created with a planner I adore to capture your personalities but if you are just a chill type we can do something more intimate and down-to-earth.

It’s so easy to do something fun at home in a bedroom or living room on a sunny afternoon. Maybe outside at your favorite location to eat. If you are a hiker, let’s take a journey outside and take photos on a vista. Heck, make it a picnic! If you love to sail on a boat, let’s get some action shots on the water. If you are a music person, let’s set find a record store and pick out tunes.

These images are more than just kissy faces and fondness for each other. It’s more about what is significant to the relationship that makes you guys a perfect fit. Maybe it’s your love for adventurous traveling or a shared love for Starwars, and how can we as the photographer help you tell your story with our images?

Steps you can take to make a great couples session:

• Come up with a theme
  • Chill, glam, power couple vibes
• Find your photographer and ask all the questions
  • Hopefully, it will be me, don’t wait too long people are super busy in 2022
• Get a stylist/planner if you want something super over the top
  • These folks will help with sets, location logistics, and clothing options, they are magic
• Location, location, location
  • Home, downtown, mountains, bar, park, historical landmark
• Have a budget in mind
  • Sessions by the hour or half of a day. Our pricing for engagement sessions (if booked separately from wedding packages) starts at $500 per hour.
