Yes, you. The one who’s been grinding through late-night study sessions, surviving finals, and somehow making it look easy the whole time. Whether you’re walking across that stage at a Reno-area high school, heading off to the University of Nevada, Reno (go Wolf Pack! 🐺), or finishing up your college journey and stepping into the real world… this moment? It’s a big deal. Like, really big.
And it deserves to be captured in a way that’s just as iconic as you are.
I’m your local Reno photographer, and I am here for it. Senior portraits aren’t just photos, they’re a whole vibe. They’re the images you’ll look back on in ten years and say, “okay yeah, I actually looked amazing.” They’re what goes on your wall, in your family’s frames, and honestly? All over your Instagram feed (no judgment, post every single one).
Let’s be real: living in the Reno-Tahoe area is kind of unfair to the rest of the country. We have everything.
Want moody, dramatic mountain vibes? The Sierra Nevada has you covered. Dreaming of that crystal-clear blue water with peaks in the background? Lake Tahoe is literally one of the most stunning places on the planet and it’s basically in our backyard.
Want something more urban and editorial? Downtown Reno’s arts district, with its murals, architecture, and that unmistakable skyline, hits differently in photos. Or maybe you’re a UNR student who wants to rep the campus you’ve called home, the Quad, the Mack Social, the iconic views around campus? Yes, let’s do it.
From the sandy shores of Sand Harbor to the open skies out toward Pyramid Lake, from the lush greenery of Idlewild Park to the snow-dusted trails around Mt. Rose, every session is a chance to make something that feels so you and so uniquely Northern Nevada.

Here’s the deal. For $750, you get:
I keep it relaxed, I keep it fun, and I promise I’ll hype you up the entire time. No stiff poses, no awkward smiles, just you, feeling yourself, with a camera pointed your way.
This is the part people sleep on, so listen up. 👇
If you’re a high school senior, you’ll want to book your session in the early fall, ideally late summer through September. Why? Most Reno-area school yearbooks require your portrait to be submitted around October. That means if you wait until winter break to think about it, you’ve already missed the window. Fall also happens to be gorgeous around here, golden light, changing leaves, cooler temps, so your photos will look incredible anyway. Win-win.
Quick heads up though… most Reno-area schools work through an official yearbook vendor for formal portrait submissions, and some schools do allow private photographers with specific guidelines. If your school is one of them, here’s what to know:
Always check with your school directly to confirm their specific submission requirements before booking.
But here’s the good news, and honestly, the part we’re most excited about. Regardless of your school’s yearbook rules, YOU and your family can hire any photographer you want for everything else. That means graduation announcements, gifts, framed prints for grandma, and your entire Instagram grid are completely fair game. 🙌
And here’s a little insider tip: most yearbooks offer Senior Grad Ads where families can purchase ad space using any photo they love, including the ones from our session together. So even if the formal portrait has rules, your Grad Ad? That’s where your personality gets to shine.

If you’re a college graduate, the timing flips. You’ll want to get your session done in early spring, well before finals season hits. Once April rolls around and the pressure is on, the last thing you want to be doing is scrambling to book a photographer. Get it done while you’re still feeling relaxed and celebratory, not stressed and sleep-deprived. You deserve to look like the accomplished, thriving person you actually are.
Spots book up quickly around Reno and Lake Tahoe, especially during those peak fall and spring windows when the light is absolutely unreal. Whether you’re a senior at Reno High, Sparks High, Galena, McQueen, or anywhere in the area, or you’re wrapping up your time at UNR or Truckee Meadows Community College, don’t wait until the last minute to lock in your session.
This chapter of your life is closing, and a brand new one is about to begin. Let’s make sure you have the photos to prove just how amazing you looked while it happened.
