Congratulations! I’m so excited for you both. Now is the fun task of finding out what to do next. Wedding planning is no small task. Once you have the basics (budget, date, venue) covered you should sit down and figure out who your photographer should be so you can get the engagement photos done to send out save the dates. There is no such thing as being overly prepared for your vendor friends. We love when a well-thought-out plan is made by clients.
The main photographer questions to ask yourself will be:
Who: will be your photographer (hopefully me)
What: style of photography do you prefer? (natural skin color, bright, colorful)
When: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter?
Where: will this place(s) tell our love story?
Think of it like this, if you guys met at a spot that you both love why not get dressed up and head back there? If you got engaged at Central Park, a family beach house, museum, or state park, or want to adventure to a hilltop with a view these are great options. If none of those sound like your vibe then maybe the ideas below will start you on the right path.
