Hello! I’m Simone, a Reno photographer and Lake Tahoe family photographer, here to capture your family’s unique story in the most beautiful and authentic way possible. As a photographer, mother, melophile, amateur baker, and coffee and whiskey enthusiast, I bring a blend of creativity, warmth, and professionalism to every session. My love for photography began with my parents, and over the years, it has grown into a passion for capturing moments that freeze time, showcasing the beauty of love in all its diverse and enchanting forms.

Booking Your Session

Booking a session with me is simple. Fill out the form below to inquire about your desired date. During the busy wedding season (April-October), sessions are booked on Sundays. Your appointment is confirmed once the contract is signed and payment is received. This ensures that all details are clear and that your date is secured.

Mini-Sessions and Full Sessions

What is a mini-session? A mini-session is a 30-minute photography service for up to 6 people, starting at $295+ (pricing varies by number of people and if the location requires a permit). If you want more time together or want multiple locations in the Lake Tahoe area, a full one-hour session is required, as 20 minutes isn’t enough time. One-hour sessions start at $550 and can accommodate up to 15 people. If you have more people in the group, they can be added on a per-person basis, but in some cases its more manageable to just book additional time. Groups with multiple generations and 15+ people that want specific photo pairings together should consider booking a 2-hour session, so we have enough time to cover all the photo requests and details. I don’t want you to feel rushed and would like you guys to enjoy the small moments in between a family session.

Locations

Where will the session take place? The location will depend on the season and the type of shoot. Most sessions occur in beautiful outdoor settings such as Reno parks and Lake Tahoe public areas. Join me at my cozy home studio in Sparks, NV, for a more intimate setting. Some venues, like farms, may require an admission fee, which is not included in the session price. For locations that require permits, such as certain national parks, those permit fees are covered by the client.

Session Experience

How does the session work? When we arrive at the chosen location, we’ll start with some pleasantries and pick the perfect spot for photos. Mini sessions are fast-paced and fun, designed to capture natural, candid moments with easy poses that work for everyone. We’ll work as a team during the session, chasing beautiful light and encouraging plenty of smiles and silliness. Depending on the season and setup, you can expect 5-8 different poses included in your session and gallery. After the session, I’ll edit the images to reflect my photography aesthetic. Post-Session Details

How long will it take to get my photos? Your edited images will be sent to your email of choice within 2 weeks after your session date.

How many photos do I receive? Most sessions will result in a gallery of approximately 50-150+ images. Mini-session clients will receive a set number (20+ varies) of high-resolution digital downloads included in the price. Clients who book a one-hour session will receive 75+ high-res digital downloads as part of their package. All the best photos are added to an online gallery, and then you get to pick the ones you want to download.

What to Wear

We want you to wear whatever makes you feel your best and truly represents who you are. Your comfort and confidence are key to capturing authentic, beautiful photos. Additionally, please consider the colors in the location where we’ll be shooting and aim for a cohesive look among your group and how they will look when you have them framed in your house. This attention to detail will enhance the overall harmony and appeal of your photos. With all sessions, I include a client guide to give you some inspiration for clothing and the best practices when it comes to picking clothes that photograph well.

Travel Policy

Yes, I am available for travel. If the destination is more than an hour away by car, additional fees may apply. For out-of-state travel requiring a flight, fees will include the cost of the plane ticket, hotel, and car rental.
