Beach Wedding
If you are in search of some ideas for a small wedding gathering, then look no further. Smith James Events, along with Laura Murray, put together this whimsical San Diego wedding editorial beach escape, perfect for a small wedding and reception, and excellent for any beach location that allows small gatherings.
With all of the recent changes to weddings and events across the world, micro weddings or minimalist events are a hot trend for couples to consider for the next few years. Trust me you can still have an elegant event with all your must-haves but just on a smaller scale.
Some of the best weddings I’ve attended were with 50 or fewer of your closest family and friends. The awesome upside is you will have more time to mingle with everyone and catch up on life, and you “could” have a small-ish bill (depending on your must-have ideas, menu, details, etc) compared to a 200+ wedding night. Some venues in metro areas are a bigger price tag of $300 per person. Which may or may not include all the things you hoping for. The downside to smaller weddings is fewer guests which means hard decisions have to be made with the invite list.
Just remember this day is for the two of you. Don’t be persuaded by unwarranted opinions (mine included but I would still love to be your photographer if you let me 😉) from what is most important to you guys. The world is crazy and we are not guaranteed tomorrow so build the event that brings you joy.
